Evoqua LaboStar ™ PRO water treatment system
Laboratory system of ultrapure water, reverse osmosis and deionization
LaboStar ™ PRO is a cost-effective solution for the production of analytical grade pure water. This very compact ultrapure water system can be installed on a desktop in a laboratory. The product water has the following quality indicators: conductivity of 0.055 μS/cm (electrical resistance equal to 18.2 MΩ*cm); total organic carbon content <10 ppb. Water produced by models with a UV - oxidation (UV) module has a total organic carbon content in the range of 1 to 5 pbb. The product water exceeds all quality standards for laboratory water, including: STM Type 1, CLSI and ISO 3696 Type 1. Both deionized water and distilled water, or the filtrate obtained by operating a reverse osmosis system can be used as feed water. Selected water treatment materials and 4 modules, including the DI after-treatment module used in LaboStar PRO, ensure that treated water meets the highest quality standards. Water quality indicators in the recirculation circuit are continuously measured by a conductivity sensor. A positively charged 0.2 µm sterile filter built into the dispenser holds bacteria and endotoxins. This allows you to produce pure water with a level of endotoxins < 0.001 EU/ml, eliminating the need to use an expensive ultrafilter. An uncharged 0.2 µm sterile filter is also available.
